Board of Directors
Landon Bishoff
Founder & President
Landon is a full time content creator in the adventure motorcycle space, having spent the past three years living off his motorcycle.
Fluent in Spanish, he has focused much of his solo travel in Latin America, riding through every state in Mexico, all of Central America, and currently is in South America.
Landon is partnered with brands like GoPro, Rocky Mountain ATV, & TacoMoto all brands that support the Strangers Who Care mission.
Before life on the road, Landon worked in sales and marketing, where he recruited, developed, and managed teams across the Pacific Northwest and Hawaiian Islands. He has led growth efforts for large companies like Terminix as well as smaller businesses, and while he no longer focuses on that work full-time, he remains involved.
Lohnay Bishoff
Board Member
Lohnay grew up in Cardston, Alberta, Canada, and attended BYU-Hawaii, Ricks College, and BYU Provo, where she earned a degree in Business.
She raised five children with her husband, Kim, in a small desert town in Southern California, and has taught piano lessons part-time for over 30 years. She enjoys playing the piano, writing music, playing pickleball, trying new recipes, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She also values serving in her church and community and participating in weekly meetings and activities.
She has been learning to speak Spanish for the past two years and finds it both fun and challenging. She is excited to serve on the board of Strangers Who Care and support its mission.
Evy Gomez
Board Member
Evy was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. At age of 16, she moved to Blythe, where she completed high school and went on attend Palo Verde College. There, she earned four degrees in Psychology, Liberal Arts, Criminal Justice, ando Social and Behavioral Science.
Evy currently works for Riverside County Probation, where she is dedicated to serving her community. She is married and a proud mother of six children.
In her spare time, Evy enjoys dancing and is a Zumba instructor. She also loves playing pickleball with her friends and family. A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Evy strives to live her faith in her daily life.
Evy is excited to grow, learn, and work alongside her new collegues.

Edith Garcia
Social Media Manager
Edith is from Monterrey, Mexico, and currently lives in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila. She graduated from International Business Administration at Tec de Monterrey and has worked in social media and digital marketing for the past seven years and in Market Research for the past 12 years.
Married and a mom of a 6 YO daughter, she loves languages and is fluent in Spanish, English and French, currently learning Italian and passionate for nature, particularly trees and cats.
Edith is honored to support Strangers Who Care through storytelling, social media, and mission-driven communication. Her work is guided by a deep belief in human dignity, generosity, and the power of stories to inspire hope and action.
