HOW IT ALL STARTED
We believe in kindness
About Us.
Strangers Who Care was born from a simple but life-changing reality: again and again, strangers showed unexpected kindness to Landon Bishoff during his motorcycle travels through Mexico and Latin America. People offered him food, shelter, guidance, and help (often from places with very little to spare). They expected nothing in return.
What began as a personal experience soon became something bigger. After hearing these stories, others started giving so that Landon could give back in meaningful ways to the very people who had helped him.
One of those moments led to a welder and tools for a father in Chiapas who had selflessly helped along the journey—a gift that could strengthen his livelihood and support his family.
That is how Strangers Who Care began: not as a planned charity, but as a growing response to real generosity.
Today, we share true stories of kindness between strangers and provide practical, tailored support to people in low-income communities who helped others without expecting anything in return. Our goal is not only to meet real needs, but to remind the world of something we deeply believe: the unknown does not always mean danger. More often than we think, it means humanity, dignity, and care.
OUR MISSION.
We help noble strangers who have given aid expecting nothing in return by providing strategically tailored economic support, so they experience an increased quality of life.
